This work looks at a re-reading of history by using a multi-screen format. The video imagery is both authored and found in nature, for instance vernacular super-8 image sequences of 1981 Hunger Strike funerals. This amateur video clip sits with video imagery from Iran and re-enactments in Belfast from 2006. These visual materials has been re-positioned and re-contextualised to unpack the formation of history and the image’s role on this process.
